Its over. Treliving made a move but not enough. First round exit coming up.
Once again, if our core 4 can't carry us past the 1st round of the playoffs with the improved goaltending we've received this season then it doesn't matter what we did today.

EDIT: if the Panthers got Marchand we are thoroughly screwed.

I do blame the manager. If Dubas or Bowman or Quinn were the managers, they'd get the same blame. Plenty of time to make his mark and he didn't. He could have done a lot more. He could have been aggressive. He wasn't. He stated from day one he wanted to keep the players. They believe in the players, he extended most of them. That's on him regardless of the excuses you want to use. Players waive NTCs and move on all the time. You wanna blame any other person then that's your prerogative, a matter of opinions.

For me it’s it that different than when Dubas got Mark Giordano and had a quiet deadline a few years ago. Some years you shouldn’t go for it because the team doesn’t deserve the investment. And this team definitely doesn’t deserve it.

I lived there for over 5 years. 3 years in Northern Florida and 2+ years in Miami.

There are...good aspects and bad aspects. My wife and I moved from Miami because we didn't want to raise children in Miami. If you're rich, single and in your 20's however, Miami is awfully tough to beat.
I lived in Florida 2 different times, central/easter Florida close to Daytona Beach. Moved back up north and haven't looked back.

Its for some, but once you are down there, there are a lot more negatives than positives.
