There is a bit of time left in this. Have to wonder if NYR now goes back to SJ to try to squeeze a Boyle deal out in the next 20 mins. Or maybe a bigger trade was considered, but NYR wanted to move Gaborik first if SJ didn't want him?

Not getting that for this years playoff run. Its either going to be Hertl or Nieto possibly next year. And maybe DW can sucker a FA to join the Sharks.

If Hertl and Nieto can step in and make an immediate impact, we can bench Burish. Maybe even Desi. On paper we could be one top-6 away from icing a really solid team.

Gaborik got traded for garbage. Thats interesting but the Jackets still need a center.

I just don't see them making cap space like that at the deadline. They'd do it in the off-season. They did that for a reason, and Im concerned.
