That Winnik trade imo will really help us have leverage in getting a great return on Glencross.

Less so July 1st. But yeah, it's a good break from the monotony of summer.

I think the order of my favorites are:

1) Playoffs - Playoffs will always be the best
2) Draft day (I like seeing our prospects getting picked and seeing their progression)
3) Trade Deadline
4) July 1st

And for me:

1) first round of playoffs
2) trade deadline in summer

1st and only pick: Oliver Ekman-Larsson from Arizona. Maybe trial Arizona-Wings-Caps.

Green - OEL - Zetterberg trial.

First nhl PlayOffs.

For me it's:

1) Playoffs
2) TDL
3) FA day
4) Draft day

TDL is exciting for me because I like to see teams that try to go all in for that final push and you can see the results of their transactions almost immediately (even if short lived), as opposed to waiting all summer for "what ifs" and "where do you think they'll fit". I usually block off my calendar for TDL so I don't get pulled into meetings at work

Draft day doesn't do very much for me because I don't follow prospects nearly as close as you guys do, so after part of the first round, interest drops drastically for me unless there are player transactions.

My favorite is training camp because then I go observe Backlund for like a solid week.

Mayors Manor sayign the prospect is a defenseman on their top 10 list. Only defenseman in their top 10 on HF is Forbort, so that is my guess.
