Reinbacher, Demidov and Fowler are no trades for me. I’d be open to moving the rest.

Major moves happen mostly in the office season.
Habs are in the mix, that can't be denied.

Inter division trades are rare so Cozens won't become a Hab.
I can see a trade or two at the AHL level to help Laval for a playoff push.

I’d need a pretty big overpay on Heineman as well. He’s not going to be a game breaker or anything but the guy is a wrecking ball on the bottom 6 and you need guys like that to win.

I wouldn't want to move Beck it would have to be Kapanen for me.
Some would even suggest Kapanen has the greater value.

Addressing Hage… I love the kid but he’s become one of those players into whom fans project their fantasies. The fact of the matter is he’s an 18 year old who could end up being a stud or… not. And even if he does become a solid 2C, that’s not going to be for 4-5 years. If a legit present-day 2C costs Hage along with, say, picks and Mailloux, you gotta let him go.
No team is going to give up a top 50 center in the league for spare parts. Why would they? Then they are in the same brutal position that we’re in. The only scenario I can envision is a bottom-feeding, tanking-for-a-few-years team who has a quality 2C who doesn’t fit their window but hopes that Hage is their future 2C. Our window does not begin in 5 years (god willing).
This is by no means any evidence but I love this site, Hockey Prospecting, and thought I would give it a shout-out.

He has Michkov , Matthews and Eichel in the same conversation as Mario and Crosby. That's a big lol for me.
My preference is we go buying a RD and try and sign a UFA 2C veteran in the offseason to carry that role until Hage arrives.
I'd be willing to move Mailloux, Kapanen and to a far lesser extent Heinemen in varying pick laden packages for a top 4 RD. The remainder I would prefer to keep. Beck could be dangled for that RD right now as well. However, until we bring in a 2C that can give us ~3 years, I wouldn't move on from any of our centremen sans Dvorak.
