I will be so sad if that happens.Fitting Larkin gets so much easier when you don't have to account for $3-$4 million for McCarron.
He's not available. But their fans think he's worth Faber/Boldy ++......it's hilarious.our focus should be prying jack hughes from NJ.
Idk but I’m not that worried about it. I don’t think Middleton has valueWho is in net?
And I'd far rather move Middleton. Old school guys like Yzerman love tough guys like that.
Terrible deal even before it’s signed. I think Billy is going to go term to get the number downI’d think we’d be lucky if McCarron is between $3-4m per...
I’m also glad Brackett is gone. I think we can do better. We could also do worse for sure, but I’m hoping we improve here.Honestly, I don't understand Guerin's plan anymore. His trade for Jiricek in hindsight was absolutely terrible. And then he decided to go all in on Hughes. And somehow he is to get another top 6 center with what prospects? Minnesota has a bottom 5 pool and depth as shallow as a kiddie pool.
I'm glad that Brackett is gone. Hate them as much as you want but Dallas ended up grabbing Rantanen and gave up Stankoven. And if rumors are true moving Robertson for Larkin without losing Johnston or Hintz would be outstanding for Dallas. Two second round picks turned into top 6 players.
Guerin went all in for Hughes.
This comment could apply to almost every deal made by Guerin that isn't an ELC.Terrible deal even before it’s signed. I think Billy is going to go term to get the number down
I don’t get how they’re in anything other than a rebuild, their roster is brutal.I feel like we’re awkward trading partners with Detroit no matter what. If they were rebuilding then, sure, I’d feel better with the futures-heavy proposals I’m seeing thrown around.
The hardest part for Guerin will be convincing Yzerman that we can still help his team win now, even though we’re in our own win-now window.
