Russo has said that Khusnutdinov does have a clause of some sort in his contract where he could go back to the KHL. If he does that, he won’t be back in the NHL this year.

I mean, he would be burning quite a few bridges. Even if he COULD come back, why would any NHL team take the risk that he'll just bolt to Russia if things don't go his way? Don't need that headache for a (current) 4th liner.

It also could depend on conversations had with the organization. Maybe they would prefer he play in the KHL as opposed to our dumpster fire AHL team.

Realistically, he will be a top 6 center for Iowa for (maybe) the rest of the season. Hope he can develop his offensive game.

I would take him here for rest of season, Put EK on IR for rest of season use that money then trade for Nelson and cheat system. But I wouldnt want him long term at his age at this point. But If we are Healthy with Nelson in playoffs I will take my chances

I agree 100%, but I am just talking rumored players that Wild have interest in, And I believe the contracts are pretty close so that would work out
