Maybe I’m the odd one? I don’t want anything to do with EP or JT.

For the price we would pay, the cap hit and the players, seems like a lot of risk.

JT Miller in a vacuum where contracts do not matter and where you could trade for him for nothing that would hurt off this roster or a prospect like Buium or Yurov would be a tremendous fit on this roster. He represents a lot of what I would say they are missing. But I don’t know why you’d be comfortable with that deal until he’s 37 and that’s ignoring the cost.

The Idea of what Pettersson represents in the past is not the player he is today. It’s great that he has a 100pt season but Rossi is out scoring and out pacing him and he’s enough of a concern that his captain and management are calling his attitude to the forefront. What are you getting for the assets you move for him and the contract you need to pay him? This is not an Eichel level player.

Hold the assets and keep waiting for something else to shake loose.

Pettersson seems to be like Jiricek. Refuses to get his body in NHL shape. He looks like a CPA. Totally unacceptable for a guy making $11M to be so thin and fragile. Jiricek is a good deal younger and he’s really tall so sometimes those guys take longer to fill out. But EP needs to hit the weight room.

I don’t really want Boeser all that much either. He’s a good player but I’d want more speed in the top 6 than we currently have. We are very slow as far as actualy straight line speed is concerned

A part of me died when the Wild signed Matt Cooke. I'm not sure how many parts I can spare.

But yes, he'd probably improve the scoring depth.
