No he wasn't lol

Faber was frustrating him all day long, he took a stupid penalty late in the third that a good team would have capitalized on, and his only point was an assist where he did even less than Boldy did on Faber's GWG in Dallas

But hey, you see what you want to see, everyone else will keep seeing what's really there
Gaslighting at it’s finest.

My dude, you need to go back and rewatch/listen. Carter had a whole rant about Tkachuk impeding Chisholm’s ability to come out and block the puck on Norris’ go ahead goal. You literally hear the tail end of it at 8:55 of this video

I see and hear things just fine. People just don’t want to hear it or read it on here.

Oh, well if he gets in the heads of the TV analysts around the league, you've got a good point, we should sell everything including the kitchen sink for him. Getting in the heads of those TV analysts is how you win games, after all. You've converted me.

I’d settle for him just ripping the puck on net the second he gets it. He would pull himself out of his funk so fast.
Well, he had as many shots against Ottawa as he had the 3 previous games combined, and that doesn't include 2 pipes (1 shot, 1 deflection), so hopefully the ship is correcting.

If he had those 6, but then also had enough pass ups to frustrate people, he at least seems to be getting the puck in right areas at an alright clip.

Pretty crazy cutoff though. In the 6 games prior to the Edmonton game, he had 29 shots. In the next 6 games, he had 8.

How old are you that your common rebuttal to posters is "gaslighting"?

I didn’t realize the word gaslighting had an age limit. Maybe when I hit 30 and the new rulebook is passed out it will be in there. I’ll be sure to look.
I did kind of chuckle when Carter brought up potential goaltender interference (Tkachuk “bumping” Chisholm into Gus), just for the replay to show anything but.
For real though. No idea what he was talking about and you can sort of hear his hesitation with the replaying being shown, but then he just kept going lol

Watching that PP goal replay… and I’m no expert on PK schematics… but what is Khus doing so close to the net?
He goes to cover Tkachuk but leaves his point coverage completely open, which is where the puck eventually goes before the goal.

From a Wild-GM perspective, I'd trade pretty much anyone except of Kap, Gus & Faber for upgrades.

A Deal around Boldy & Rossi for a star-center like MacKinnon, Draisaitl or McDavid? Where can I sign up? I

For next year: With all those (stupid!) bottom 9 depth signings with NMC we gonna get room for the next talent-wave. Ohgren, Heidt, Yourov - you name them. Ship out Rossi & Boldy for a real gamebreaker at center.

Kap - Ek - Zucc
Yurov - Gamebraker - Ohgren
Foligno - Freddy - Trenin
I - don't - care

Top-5 center in the league don't get traded so the suggestion above is no option of course. But I would also do something more realistic like Boldy & Ohgren + for D. Larkin.

Kap - Larkin - Zucc
Yurov - Rossi - FA-signing
Foligno - Ek - Johansson
Put - in - plugs

Man I really hope Hartman gets out of his slump, atm he looks like the next buyout candidate.

To be honest, thats exactly how I feel about Hartman at the moment. And thats a sad thing.
Agreed , and I say that as a big fan of what he’s always brought to the team no matter the role he was asked to fill

Honestly, I'd sign Gus to a long term contract, trade Wallstedt before his value tanks even further and roll with a cheap backup.
How about we wait and see what happens after we get Wally the heck out of Iowa? He should be up here right now as a backup getting experience and working with our coaches. Instead, he's being yanked back and forth, while dealing with a weak team and crappy coaches down south. It's criminal.

Wallstedt just hasn't been good enough. Seems to be getting worse, especially this year. I don't think that we have a genius coaching staff or great defensive team in Iowa, but at some point, you have to stop making excuses for a guy who simply isn't stopping pucks. He isn't going to supplant Gus, and the way he is playing, even MAF, so i don't see him being brought up here simply to sit in the team suites/bench at games.

The 3rd line isn't really helping at all offensively. Foligno, Trenin and Hartman are paid like elite 3rd liners that should be able to step into the top 6 when needed. But you aren't getting that from them, I guess Foligno is okayish but still not good enough, especially if he has to step up in to the top 6. Hartman used to be that kind of elite 3rd liner who could play in the top 6 when needed but this season he has fallen off badly. Johansson at 2 mil is fair for what he is, could his production be done cheaper by someone else? Yes, but saving about 1 million in the cap is moot when we have 11.5 mil tied into three players who are supposed to be providing much more value.
