I think Hunt is a legitimate asset that could be a mainstay on a lot of NHL blue lines right now. I also don’t there’s some huge ceiling there that others would covet acquiring in a deal like this so would need a fairly reasonable add. He would be the most appealing main piece from a Wild perspective but that would be a hard sell for Columbus in a potential deal to their base.

Lambos is magic beans in my view. Maybe he puts his tools together and becomes great. Not likely. Peart is going to take some time yet before he’s ready to see games. O’Rourke is not an NHL prospect to me. Spacek is a Jiricek-lite. None of these seem likely legitimate targets if I was another front office looking at the Wild’s reserve list.

I don't see that Yurov has followed up last year's performance with an equally good one this year, while Buium has picked up where he has left off. With Wallstedt's mediocre numbers down in Iowa, I think Buium is our #1 prospect.
2/3 of Buium’s production has come on the power play. Give me Yurov.

I want this team to splash at the deadline if we get the cap space or this off-season. I think we have to many prospects that won't have room here and we can pair them with picks. We need get an upgrade at 2nd line wing.

I wouldn't either. Last season's Gus is still fresh in my mind. If we had two or three consistent years of "good" Gus, then fine.
It was his first year of being a father. I'm sure his whole routine was off - I consider last year a mulligan

Chisholm is good and getting better all the time. He has skill and who knows what his upside is. I’m watching a player who I want to see more of. He’s found gold.

If we held onto Chisholm for at least one more year and Buium was in the AHL next season, well maybe that wouldn't be so bad

Or if Buium forces our hand then that isn’t a bad problem either. I never want to see Merril crack a lineup again
