So the wings are apparently surging. Let's give them a nice warm spanking to destroy their playoff hopes
He’s had some immigration issues. They were expecting him to play last game so I haven’t heard if it’s sorted yet or not but as soon as it is I’d imagine he’d go. Not much time before the deadline and we need to give him a long look.Is Klingberg gonna draw in?
There was talk Detroit may be his first I thought I heard?
I just read that it's looking like sat. I'm still trying to possibly come to EDM for that game. He’s had some immigration issues. If Detroit is still without Kane, Compher, and Tarasenko like they were against LA, this might be a tough game for them. But it would be a good measuring stick for youngsters Edvinsson, Johansson, Soderblom, Kasper, and Berggren.Looking at their last few games, "surging" seems like a bit of a strong word. They've won 4 of their last 7. They beat LA, Florida, Montreal and Tampa, but lost to Tampa, Dallas, and Philly. It seems like a lot of their success is on Cam Talbot's shoulders- he had a 28 save shutout in the Detroit game which was essentially a 1-0 win, and stopped 41/43 against Florida.
Yet again, this feels like a bit of a trap game. If we play like we did against Seattle and Buffalo, I think our luck might run out in this one. If we bring anything close to our A-game, this should be an easy 2 points.

Defend the 1-1 tie!todd mclellen coached team? we better pummel them
Cam Talbot when McLellan institutes a trap for 55 minutes on their third team together (they lose in overtime):
I agree, I don't think McLellan is a guy who gets a team over the hump. But he's a great coach to come in and get things moving in the right direction imo.Amusingly, the Red Wings beat the brakes off of the Kings the other day too.
Todd McLellan does come with some jokes that consistently write themselves but overall he's a really good coach.
Regular season coach. Good enough for a team who's just trying to make the playoffs for once but his flaws become apparent in a 7 game series.I don't get the hate for McLellan...he was the best coach we had until Knob
I mean we won a series in 2017 against the Sharks and should've won the series against the Ducks...and he won a ton of series with the SharksRegular season coach. Good enough for a team who's just trying to make the playoffs for once but his flaws become apparent in a 7 game series.
Don't diss Teddy Purcell and Lauri Korpikoski like thatMcLellan didn't run a trap in Edmonton.

He was a sacrificial lamb here under Peter Chiarelli who built an absolute stinker of a team for him to coach. Turned around the Kings rebuild and now seems to be turning around the Red Wings one too.
