That looks just like a car brake drum. The five lug nut holes tipped me off. So not really a traditional musical instrument, but an old car part being repurposed. Never saw that before.

Dude this was brilliant. I've heard all about this special, and I've been familiar with Bo since he was a kid making home videos, but damn this convinced me to put it up the queue instantly. Can't wait.
