Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. Was trying to think of a way to describe Toropchenko and the best I could come up with is that he is a "foxhole" player. He seems like a guy you want to go to war with (for lack of a better term). Always seems to be positive and smiling, I love his attitude and loved the way he called out the team effort last season.

Perhaps a slight overpay but honestly, probably not based on how the cap’s rising. And it’s 1 year so virtually no risk.
There’s probably a few thousand more talented hockey players in world but not many of them are 6’6”, 225 lbs and can skate like the wind. He’s a fine 4th liner.
I don’t expect 15 goals out of him again this season (going back to at least age 15, he has zero 20 goal seasons at any level under his belt) but he is off to a bit of a slow start here. We need him to drive the net and create chaos. He’s not a needle mover but he’s a solid 4th liner. Good for him on the extension.

Candidate to trade to somebody willing to overpay for his presence on their fourth line. Let somebody else be baited by his size and speed.
If he was a better player maybe he would be higher in the lineup.

The guy has no hands. We actually did try him out on Kyrou’s line for a couple games earlier this season, and he does not belong there.
I would take anyone in the top 9 wing and Walker and Texier over Toropchenko in the top 9. He is completely inept offensively. He had speed and will hit people but you need players who can produce in the top 9.
