He's never signing for $8m AAV. This is Raddysh's one and only opportunity to cash out in the NHL, there is 0% chance he doesn't take the higheat amount he can possibly get.I think it will be fine. Raddysh will walk into a great powerplay in Toronto and get a pile of points. He is also underrated defensively. Even if he gets $8 million per year, that will basically be second-pairing defenseman comp within a couple of years.
