Not a fan when he has to face top matchup comp though. As long as Matthews/Marner take away the other teams first options, Nylander can run wild, especially with his current line. Having healthy Matthews/Nylander/McMann in the playoffs is gonna look a lot different than last year.

I never understood the looks lazy narrative. He has a strong stride, which makes it look like he is coasting. But he moves his feet better than anyone on the team. Some guys look like they are trying hard cause they are weak skaters

I always find it interesting when the other team scores the first goal all the naysayers come out stating how bad of team the Leafs are - even though the Leafs are in a battle for first place - yet when the Leafs had a good game these posters are incredibly quite - I guess they are not real Leaf fans at all

He has been kicking and chewing bubblegum v top lines as well. He has elite speed, shot and top end playmaking / passing ability.
