I've noticed that as a constant this year, the Leafs do a really poor job of making puck retrieval easy or the guy they are passing to life easy. When they dump the puck in they either do it too hard or too deep so it's impossible to get to the puck first. When they pass they pass into the feet or to the back hand or they throw a grenade to their teammate, not all the time but enough to notice it is a trend.
