When is the last time we've had a guy like that?

I actually asked that a month or so ago in here and I think the consensus was Salming. That's a long friggin' time ago. I think you have to hit the lottery and draft/develop a guy like that because no one's giving them up once they have them.

No, I'm not. Worst case the Leafs get a point out of this game? That will be enough.
How?

TB has a far easier schedule than Tor and they play 3 at home.

Vasi is sitting at .930% for his past 30 games and TB has the best goal differential in the league over the past 30 games.

This is far from being over.

Benoit's effort definitely gets him out of trouble sometimes...

Playing a 2 on 2 like a 2 on 1 is interesting

I give up. Yes, the Leafs will lose to Montreal, Buffalo and Detroit.

Must be getting old now apparently blocked shots are a bad thing?
No, not on the whole. It does mean we are playing Berube's system and at least doing it the best we can. That Benoit block on Kuch was a beauty.

The sheer volume of shot blocks however, will tell you that Tampa have the puck in our zone for an exorbitant amount of time. That is bad.

Isolated blocked shots aren't, but if it's a pattern then your team doesn't have the puck enough.

Dan Girardi was great at this for the Rangers back in the day, but one of the reasons he blocked so many shots is because once he had the puck it was like giving a teenager a loaded gun and a pile of crack.
