I have to look into this, thank you. I've been saying for years I would pay EXTRA for broadcasts with ambient sound but not the commentary. This is not specific to any personality, I just think it would be a better experience.

Center speaker trick works. If you have a center speaker just unplug it, if you don't, plug a cable into the A/V jack and it will think you do have one.

All the commentary comes from the center speaker when you're in Dolby Digital or whatever.

It's pretty cool and yet I always forget I can do this. It's actually more "surrounding" which is a bit ironic (don't you think?)
