He coached you?
No, Keefe wasn’t even a dirty thought in his father’s mind when I played hockey…….

Which players have you heard say this?
Haven’t heard any say it, but Roberstson’s pissed he’s not playing, Benoit is pissed too, Reeves was upset earlier in the season for not being in the line up, and I’m sure Sammy wasn’t happy about being sat. How many examples were you looking for?

So players being pissed they are not playing is your angle? Got it. Okay, I thought you were being serious and some players had made public comments about their dislike for the coach and how demotivating he is.

I think tonight is a good matchup for Toronto.

Torts may have Philly playing hard, but the Leafs dont have problems with teams that just play hard....they have problems against teams where the Leaf's talent can't overwhelm the other team unless the LEAFS play hard.

No matter how hard Philly plays, Toronto should be able to 'out-talent' them, so I think this is a good matchup.

Which teams have players not dressing that are happy about it?

IMO, Keefe should have been fired years ago but there is nothing to suggest that he isn't popular amongst his players.

I would agree with that. He is, or at least was, very much a players coach. He has stiffened a little since Dubas has left, at least in his comments outwardly.

Another day, and random Leafs fans finding just about anything to be upset about. It's so predictable and laughable.
Correct. Yet I still can't figure out how people come into this thread and predict a loss, and then I look in the prediction thread and about 99% of the posts there predict a win (as is the case for virtually every game this season). Seems.... contradictory.

As for tonight's game, the only thing I would say is that it probably won't be the best hockey anyone has ever seen. It's time to get to the playoffs already.

Matthews should have a good game, he was dragging down his line the past few, but was absolutely horrific in Montreal. Some pride tonight is welcomed.

Leafs Nation are a scarred people. We have become pessimistic above all else (in general), and will easily latch on to the smallest of reasons to predict a loss or another negative outcome.

I mean, it is all based on what we have experienced over our lives... so, really, it is all we know.

I appreciate the people who remain glass-half-full regardless of the realities around us. Kudos to you.

I applaud anyone who manages to have interest in games like tonight. Even though there is still a good chance of catching Boston given the games in hand, it's hard for me to have much interest in tonight's game. The game on Saturday against Carolina will be a better test for the leafs.

I don't mind Benoit sitting right now. They have to give the new guys some time to gel. The cream will eventually rise and they have some control over his next couple years if he ends up the #7 guy for the season.

Flyers next 6 games. Leafs, @ Boston, Leafs, @ Carolina, Boston, Florida. They could drop out of a playoff if they are not careful. I would expect them to want this one more than the Leafs but have no idea what Leafs team shows up.

Personally, I can't wait to watch! It's been a while.
Yes, I will moan and complain, but I will also cheer every goal or big play that we make.
Hoping for a win... Flyers aren't great. Figure we win this one, lose next week in Philly?

Just looked at the schedule. Surprised we are at Philly then home for 1 against the Canes then next game back down to Philly lol. We also have a home and home with New Jersey back to back in April which is interesting. Wonder if they will still be in the race. But the best thing I saw was our last 3 games are Detroit, Florida , Tampa Bay then playoffs. I really like those warm up games. Wonder if Keefe will be sitting out stars looking for milestones again like a Tyrant.

who said anything about players disliking the coach? I said his line up choices are demotivating to the players.........

I think you can also add Sandin, Lilly and Marner (until Keefe backtracked) to your unhappy list, among others. Some deserve to be unhappy, however.
