I feel like all the pressure is on Ottawa tomorrow, there is an extreme lack of experience and it will be interesting to see how they handle it, including Travis Green.

Got to jump on them early, hopefully they can draw more than 1 PP.

Sure feels different.
I think the additions of Berube, Stolarz and Tanev, plus the confidence the top guys gained at the 4 Nations has given this team a little more swagger and a little less of the deer in the headlights look.

A team is a reflection of its coach.

If the coach is a feeble gimp like Bozo The Keefe, the team is going to play a feeble soft game.

If the coach is a legit bad-ass thug, the team is going to play like bad-ass thugs.

Really hoping Patches is in for Robertson, that 3rd line is beyond useless for us (minus Domi's OT goal which had no involvement at all from the other 2)

Bad defensivly, bad offensively, doesn't hit.

Marner looks great so far, and I’ve probably been one of his biggest critics in previous playoffs.

Still lots to play but he looks very confident out there, I’ve always thought Marner playing to his potential is key to this team making a deep run.
To me Hes looked like he always has

disagree. He's taking more hits and throwing more hits. Before it always seemed like his mindset was "this is not my game so i'm going to stick my game and strengths" and would half ass the physical aspect of the playoffs. which NOBODY who's won a cup has ever done, even the skilled guys need to get bruised up badly to lift the stanley.

It sounds like someone *cough* berube *cough* might have talked some sense into him finally. Or the $$$$$$$$$ that's out there is motivating him for once

As I’ve explained numerous times, when a team is winning in the playoffs you absolutely DO NOT start making line up changes regardless of what the “advanced metrics” might be saying.

Berube is a professional coach and he understands this.

I'd like to see Matthews bury a couple, he's been great so far with 3 points so far this series tonight I want see him rip a couple.

Of course as long as they win that's all that all that matters but I want to see him DOMINATE tonight.

I didn’t see any of they personally in game 2 if you really want to have a debate he’s avoiding the corners he’s not living on the perimeter which Is an improvement but he’s not engaging physically at all actually but like I said we just need him to be the best version of himself and I like what we can do here but second round against Florida looks scary

Worried about tonight - Sens will be shot out of a cannon.

Leafs can't afford to play passively. Need to actually play on the front foot and dictate the game, and not be outworked and outskated like they were for huge parts of game 2.

Do that again, and the Sens not only win but win pretty significantly.
