The QC
The game should be 3-0. Stolarz has made some huge saves. Nylander had 1 shift this game where he hit the post but was buzzing around competing. Havent seen 2 shifts from him tonight where he competed. Pretty frustrating.
What? We've hit 3 posts that their goalie had zero chance on, plus he made a couple saves where he didn't even see the puck (positional). Stolarz has been good, but none of those chances against were ten-bellers.

First period was crap. Second was good, despite all the penalties.

Figure they find a way to score one here in the third.

Do we still have our record going for most games not being shutout? Be pretty funny for it get snapped in the 1st game with a new coach.
It doesn’t feel like they’ll be shutout tonight. They’re getting too many chances

OEL will be a rollercoaster.
Will create alot offensively but will definitely turn the puck over and have some defensive gaffs.
All in all we've played well but our PP has been a big letdown in this game.
He’s had a decent game I think for the stuff he’s been asked for. His noticeable flaws have been in spots that shouldn’t be asked from him. Being on the PK or having an unexpected breakaway out of the box. He should on the top PP unit. If we can use him right he can be solid.

The french language Intermission panel.
I can't understand anything.

And yet it's alot better than the Sportsnet panel.

He made a blocker save that should have been a goal, a few others could have gotten past him and wouldnt be considered weak, based on the bang bang plays happening during the sequence.

What if we break out non-shut out streak and taking a too many men penalty streak in the same game?

Both must be around 250 games by now.

Yup... but whatever. See what happens.
Ekman Larsson needs to run PP1 soon. Reilly is not deceptive at all, pinches, cant get shots thru.
I Iike Mo but tonight he's been meh.

On the powerplay I'd try it but they'll give it a lot more time then just tonight.

This is a bigger game than he will have for months. Also his first game as captain.
It really is no bigger then any of the other 81 regular season games we will play. He will probably end up winning the Rocket again whether he scores 0 or 1 goals tonight. Trying to add regular season into his playoff issues is just dumb.
