Is there a more unlikeable US based team than Seattle?

I know maybe 3 players on the Kraken, if anything they'd be least unlikable as they haven't had a chance to hurt us yet.

I doubt thats a strategy. His agent wont be liking this at all.

I'm not saying it's a strategy, I don't know what the hell it is. Right now I just feel like Matthews isn't playing that great and if his agent is asking for the moon, I'd just say no. No matter how good any player is, you don't want to overpay and we've all seen how tough it is to build a roster under the cap.

Of course it's a lot easier for me to say this knowing that pretty soon McDavid could be available. No guarantees of course, but it's hard to see him wanting to resign with EDM and if Matthews leaves, I can definitely see him wanting to come here to be the savior.

He can clear waivers but not be assigned to the minors. Anderson I believe is still up despite clearing waivers.

Makes you wonder. Trade Mathews then sign McD to play with Marner. Mathews thinking this is his last run here?
