Really? I think that if the Leafs win tonight, the Jets series will start on Sunday. If it goes 6 or 7, that won't happen.

What do you think the Round 2 timeline is? The latest the US series can go in Round 1 is Saturday if Nashville wins tonight.

In any event, finishing off Montreal quickly is far more important than getting Tavares back a game or two earlier.

And when it comes to Tavares, it's probably best to assume that he won't be coming back. If he does become available, then of course, you fit him in. But I don't think the idea of thinking much beyond the next game is a good approach.

Incidentally, the NHL has scheduled the BOS-NYI to start Saturday night which will be 3 days after the Isles advanced -- which kind of supports my Sunday start theory for TOR-WIN if the Leafs win tonight.

Same here, maybe just a few subtle jabs. One Hab fan I had to cut off until after the playoffs due to comments on the Tavares hit and game one results. Maybe not, though, as I have truly enjoyed their silence lol

Tuesday is my guess, unless there's a game 7. Has us hit HNIC without a b2b and a reasonable amount of rest for a Game 5/6 win given wed have home ice. Sunday feels a little tight IMO

@rojac - this is my thoughts. Sunday is a possibility, they could even do Monday if it ends tonight, but that would put them in a spot to rest an extra day or go b2b for HNIC, which may not be the goal, but I don't think it's a coincidence we were scheduled b2b hitting two Saturdays

I always thought he played well against us and was dangerous with his shot, and made forwards keep their head up. Physical D man. I’m glad they are not playing him.
