I really hope they keep the foot on the gas. I’m so tired of seeing weak ass 2nd periods and dominant games turning into close ones. A good 5 goal win would be nice for once.

We are like the best 2nd period team in the league this year... We just sucked last game against Calgary.

Edmonton should have scored on that 2 on 0 though. Brodie was horrible, but Drai kinda messed up and stopped skating as well. Freddie was huge on that play.

Aside from that we've been tidy, their shots haven't been dangerous.

Dangle was talking about it on either the SDP or a LFR a while ago, and while I know some people can't stand him, he wasn't wrong. That we've gotten goals and points from the likes of Simmonds, Boyd, Spezza, and Brooks goes a long way for this team. Our depth has been showing up recently. Good timing too with Willy and JT having been a bit cold before tonight.
