That was interesting when he brought up Schenn. I don't think he would want to come back into this pressure cooker with so many other teams out there, been there done that, but never know.
Maybe coming back and playing a dependable 7 and getting 12 to 15 mins when he's dressed, and having a good chance for "a I told you so!" What's not to like?

This game makes me think about all the times people have made excuses for losing in the playoffs - we're so awesome, we just got outgoalied. But you know, when our goalie outgoalies the other team, I somehow don't feel guilty at all and I doubt anyone else does either.

For the record, if we win the cup because Murray plays out of his mind, I'm fine with that. And if we lose because we get outgoalied, that's life.

This might be out of left field but looking at Leafs assets I have to wonder if Brodie might be moved. Leafs defense is solid finally and he is a strong asset that could bring back a nice return. These pairings are really working hard for one another and it starts with veteran discipline.

If Marner does this in the playoffs finally (he can do it he did in in the OHL) this fanbase is going to have massive crow to eat and apologize to him. This team is scary with him playing like this

This game is weird as f***.

Up 3 and playing well 5 on 5 but feels like we could very easily be down with the absurd amount of penalties/chances.

Glad we aren't, Murray has been godlike.

Geez Craig tough question. Do you sit a dman when down already to 5 D or play him? I wonder

Watching Sandin and Liljegren take that next step in their development from good but sheltered 3rd pairing guys to legit top 4 guys that can play the hard minutes is awesome. Murray is a stud too.
Yeah there's always a worry that defensemen can't make that jump against tougher competition, no matter how good they look on the 3rd pairing. Very promising to see them both playing this well
