The Leafs have outplayed Ottawa the majority of this game. They have made mistakes, and need to clean them up, but people need to calm down...

You can almost feel Freddy tighten up when the play is headed his way, just doesn't look comfortable at all.

This is what he does (almost) every season though. Usually takes him a month to find his game, and then he's mostly great until game 7 of the playoffs.

I've been saying that for quite awhile now (nobody believed it). Most thought this was a cake walk team to rack up points against. They probably had the best draft this year too. They will be top of the heap in a few years. They always come to play and I never take them lightly (even though the Leafs do.

well yes when the goalie not making any saves, the team plays with no effort.... getting out worked same song and dance, wont win playing like this....

Like sure none of those goals were "bad" but he COULD have had all 4. The Leafs have actually given up virtually nothing all game and it's "typical Leafs"

Blaming everything on one player is also crazy though. There were a ton of horrible missed coverages that resulted in Sens players having way too much time and space right in the slot.

You don't hear many people hollering at Brodie for shitting the bed or for Matthews completely letting his man go by him. All you year is 'f***ing Andy'

It is a cop out that covers the actual real problems with this team so far and that is AHL level defensive coverage

Our goalie is terrible.

He should have been pulled after that nothing shot beat him clean but rung off the inside of the post.

He's toast.
