GDT: Toronto Maple Leafs @ Montreal Canadiens //Season Opener - part 2- Jan19 7PM

My Girlfriend hated hockey, abosutely could not stand watching it. Father was a Habs fan, mother was a casual Pens fan, she shared intrest in both but couldnt care less on a daily basis. It took 3 years, now (starting last season) she watches every Leaf game she can, and went out and bought herself a Lupul jersey as a celebration of the end of the lock out. In the 4 years we have been dating she gave me a Sundin and Kessel Jersey, bought me tickets to a Leafs vs. NJ game (ended up being Phaneuf's first game and leafs won 3-0 IIRC), Leafs vs. Pittsburgh (Leafs won but dont remember the score) and a Leafs vs. Sens game in Ottawa where the won 5-1 (even paid for the hotel room:naughty:) where she was the loudest and most obnoxious fan:laugh:

Anyway my buddy is throwing a party, 100 people crammed in his basement to watch the game, was going to pick up a case of Molson but since I dont want to support the Habs i paid a little extra for the Keith's.

SHE IS A KEEPER!
 
During the strike I was convinced I wouldn't be excited as I am today to watch the Leafs start this season. I think the firing of Burke and ditching Lombardi and Connolly has changed that a lot.:)
