I disagree. A lot of players who were not known for their lack of poise and on-ice awareness turned into idiots playing 4-5 years of DJ Smith hockey.

Yes, it's not an excuse, but a very accurate reality you point out. It's total bullshit league scheduling, but regardless, they look terrible, totally out of synch, terrible passing, and seem to collapse instantly under any pressure. If they get out of the first period not completely buried, maybe they find their brains.

I'm not Jacques Martin so it doesn't matter, but I'm calling it like I see it. It's obvious not having any system for 5 years to play with has scrambled a lot of brains. I'll reassess next season if they're still making the same dumb mistakes.
