I’ve actually got to give some props to Bieksa (puke) for owning up to not being familiar with Stutzle’s game.

He brought up how he criticized him for trying to be too physical in game one, and then noticed he kept it up all series. Turns out that’s just how Stutzle plays when the games are intense.

That seems odd to say about a guy who had 39 goals in 75 games a couple years ago. He definitely needs to shoot more.

Tough that we don't get to see this team play another game. They needed one bounce more in any game after G1 and we would get to see them again Saturday.

Great progress from a lot of guys. It was a fun season to watch for the first time since 2017.

Disappointed it ended in the 1st round, but excited to see what tinkering is done in the offseason. These guys will be even better next season.

What a game by Chabot. He literally got better after every game this series.

We are absolutely set for the next 3 years with Chabot-Sanderson-Kleven down the left side.

That little toe drag he did on his goal last game gave me WJC Chabot flashbacks.

Yep. He's always played a physical game. Lots of people think he's soft because of the diving accusations, but he plays with a ton of grit.

You guys have something something special in Kleven it looks like. Seemed to make an impact in a positive way everytime he was on the ice. Rarely see that from guys playing bottom minutes

Leaf fan here - I think you guys played well. Good series.

Proud of the team. Made improvements last offseason and at the deadline, the core got their feet wet with playoff experience and gave the division winner all they could handle. Another bounce here or there and it's a 7 game series or a surprise Sens win.

Also proud of the fanbase, those at the CTC did us proud and you really felt that generational shift where the fans that grew up on the Alfie and Karlsson teams showed their presence. That this was evident after years of Melnyk + Dorion + DJ ineptitude is promising, imagine once we have consistent success again!

Overall the Leafs are deserving winners, but we improve in free agency and the draft and we go again. Florida got bodied by Tampa a couple straight years and now look at where they are.

To an extent, I agree. We have the nucleus of something for sure, just need to add a bit and have faith that the core can continue to grow.

The Sens had a decent season, and IMO will only get better!
