GDT: Toronto Maple Leafs at Ottawa Senators - 7pm - SN / CBC / TVAS - Round 1 | Game 6 - More Pressure, Another Must Win, It’s All Good

Coming in peace

Just wanted to say you guys have a really bright future. Despite the loss, there's lots to be proud about. Brady is a phenomenal leader for 1, you got a stud on the blue line in Sanderson, and Zub was surprisingly really impressive.

You'll be back here next year, this is an awesome experience for your guys young group. I know it's tough but there's lots of positives and lots to look forward to with this group you guys have.

It was a really tight series, multiple OT games and honestly could have gone either way. But it was a great series and it was a lot of fun chatting you guys on the mains.

Love the acknowledgement the fans gave the team in the end there too. Lots to be proud of and lots to build on, wishing you all the best. Cheers.
Pandering to our fan base will not make the Maple Leafs anywhere near a contender.

It's nice to be a good winner, but dude your team has been a perennial loser for 8 years and is about to be smoked by the Florida Panthers. The Leafs will not contend for another cup until a full rebuild is done, and we both know Toronto management will never get that right.

Will you go congratulate the Panthers fan base when they have swept you out of their building?

If we make the playoffs next year, I hope we get the Leafs again. This team has what it takes to destroy the Leafs given the experience they've gained this year and I would love it for them to finally slay the demon.

Great season given the circumstances that the new ownership has had to navigate and work with. Love that they fought until the final whistle almost scoring in the dying seconds down two. That's a team with a lot of character. We were a goal away from being the first team eliminated in the first round and ended up being the last Eastern Conference team eliminated. Alot of great lessons to be taken and many players took great strides in that series.

Tkachuk gutted that series out and made a difference to the best of his ability. Chabot, Stutzle, Sanderson, Greig, and Kleven, were almost always positively noticeable throughout the series.

Perron and Gaudette made their mark on the series as well. Jensen is definitely fighting something extremely difficult and he gets some credit for gutting that out and trying to be available for his team every night. Batherson had some moments but ultimately him and Cozens were disssapointing.

Excited to see what the management group can try to figure out and see if we can take a step from here. Stutzle is continuing to grow into a man's body. He needs a winger that can keep up with him and with all that being said... GO SENS GO!

Batherson is still a net positive. Only reason to move him is to actually do something witht that cap space. I doubt he comes here but I’d be wll in on overpaying Ehlers huge if we move Batherson.

Don’t pay attention to the people who pick on whipping boys.

One thing I missed which was huge, Green along with upper management have had a GREAT impact on these players. Listening to the message he continuously provided in his pressers, you could see the players voicing the same message about staying in the moment, resetting after games, spending time with their family, they handled pressure and adversity great. It's a mature mindset where they continuously reiterated the message "win the day" and such. The locker room is tight and it wlcpnly get better from here.

The vibes with Brady and the city are completely 180 from what they were last year and even at the beginning of the season. The guy seems like he genuinely wants to win in Ottawa and the emotional connection to the city feels very real.

We’re lucky to have him and we shouldn’t take it for granted.

He has done a lot to win over his staunchest critics in the past few weeks. He's not perfect, and there are things he can do to get better of course but his will to win, and the effect it has on his teammates is undeniable.

I watch many sports, Bradys leadership is some of the best I've seen from a young man. He is brilliant, well spoken and articulate in difficult moments. He plays a heavy game, a truly uniwue power forward and delivers night in and night out, kudos to him. When he makes mistakes like the penalty he took today, he almost always seems to get the team going with a goal funny enough. It's a pleasure to root for him win or lose.
