Unfortunately, I felt that way before the season even started. I didn’t like our goaltending tandem, thankfully Samsonov has been a nice surprise. Still not a fan of the Murray signing, despite the obvious injuries, I think he sucks as a goaltender overall has nothing positive to offer even when he does come back from injury.

Keeping guys like Justin Holl, Kerfoot and Deciding to keep much of the roster and management group status quo just leads me to have this feeling of pandering to a team that is Inevitably destined to fail once again.

I haven’t been impressed with very many of the games I’ve seen thus far, even in the few that they did win outside of maybe one or two of the games, they’ve been flat footed and lacklustre throughout most of them.

I was hoping I was going to be proven wrong about the season, but eight games in, I haven’t been yet. That doesn’t mean they will have a terrible season and won’t make the playoffs, anything could happen, but I just don’t have a really good feeling about the season. Nothing to get overly excited about anyway.

Which version of Toronto will show up tonight? Outside of decent goaltending and maybe our second line at least trying, I think we will pretty much see much of the same.
