Seeing a full-time role (7-5-12 and +7 in 22 games) as a 20-year-old for Metallurg.

Any further information on his development?

His stride looks a bit funny but he has some wheels.

I'm going purely by highlights but it looks like he does get around the net and boards etc.

I think he's in North America next year but maybe they simply sign the ELC and send him back for another year.

Apparently he’s still under contract for another year.

I'm thinking this is a single game situation but ... it could be an enticement to re-sign?

A member of the Toronto Maple Leafs' prospect pool received a huge honor in the KHL at only 20 years old.

Leafs Top Prospect Nikita Grebenkin Becomes Youngest Captain of Metallourg Magnitogorsk in the KHL

Drafted 135th overall in 2022 by the Toronto Maple Leafs, Nikita Grebyonkin was named team captain of the Metallourg Magnitogorsk in the KHL earlier today.

At only 20 years old, he became the youngest player to wear the "C" on his jersey in that franchise, which was founded in 1955.

1 goal and 1 assists, 7 SOG, 2 hits 2 takeaways today.

He's now at 41 points in 67 games. Him and Yurov have been key reasons to Magnitogorsk's success

He's looking more and more like a top prospect.

If the kid can play without the puck, he has to be at least considered for bottom 6.

I don’t believe that. Same with Samsonov hanging his name to sAmsonov , I call BS, one would choose to screw up their name of their own volition
They don't use the same alphabet we do, so when transliterating there's not always a "right or wrong"

If a player wants to write the Cyrillic "ё" as the Latin "e" instead of "yo", that's not that farfetched
