Richmond Hill train halfway submerged in Don Valley.:amazed::help:

The city got more rain between 5 and 6pm this evening then in an entire average month of July.

Stay safe folks.

That GO train left Union at 5:30 and has been stuck over 3 hours. They have at least 3 feet of gross, disgusting water inside!

I work in downtown but thank goodness I got home before the heavy rainfall. Flooding in Brampton, too.. ugh please stop!

This is how I feel. I went in early today, got in around 7:30, I was walking home from the subway station about 10 minutes before it started pouring...

I would not have handled being stuck downtown with a bunch of grumpy subway people very well.

It's at times like this that I really appreciate living in the high elevation of King City.

I was supposed to meet a client at 6 pm at his house. He emailed me at 6:09 and said he was running late due to the rain. It's 9:00 now and I haven't heard a word. I think he either takes the subway or rides a motorcycle back out to Scarborough.

Haven't had any troubles here in Scarborough. My dog on the other hand hasn't stopped shaking (haven't heard thunder in an hour or so).

I live in a valley next to a creek.....

There was about 3ft water drowning the first floor if the school behind my house but we miraculously made out OK, thank God. Drive home was crazy. Couldn't see 2 streetlights ahead. Worse visibility than a snowstorm. Wipers couldn't work fast enough.

Power's back!
