If there was not a border in between I would 100% go!
I will be there. They really could've done this all along as they've been allowing Hartford Athletic to have 1,250 per match in a 5k capacity ground (25%) so 5K in a 40k+ stadium should've been no problem (roughly 12% capacity).

Have you been going to games?

Yes, am a HA STH. At the playoff gave vs St Louis last Saturday they allowed 40% capacity and tickets sold out in a day.

That's me at the first match vs Loudon from late July.

Another W!

Laryea's 25, but do you think European teams come calling? Dude's been absolutely terrific this season.

Not awarding the supporter's shield is garbage. I hope TFC holds onto top spot and makes their own mock trophy to stick it to them.

Another gutsy win last night with a depleted roster and tired legs.

The league's decision to not award The Supporters Shield this season is BS.

Just absolute garbage decision ... it will be Seattle and us in finals again anywho but we should be getting home field for final hopefully as best team in regular season ... total disrespect to ALL players who compete

Also to the fans who have supported throughout these difficult times. The Shield is meant to solidify the bond between team and supporter, I would argue it's more important to hand out this year than ever before!

Good decision for sure, should never have been in question.
If you want to know how this happened: A good friend of mine is on the committee (I'm an ESC member so you can probably figure out who it is if you so desire) and explained that with teams playing uneven games they felt awarding the trophy would not be correct under those circumstances. Know who changed his mind: Dan from the site www.metrofanatic.com who pointed out that the abrupt end of the 2001 regular season due to 9/11 led to teams playing uneven numbers of games and that the shield was still awarded (And given that I had signed up for the trip to Foxboro for our last match I remember that situation well). It was that fact that the committee did not realise that led to the change in course.
