Disappointing critical game. Really should have done better, Bono took the steam out of the sails in a terrible way.

The GK has been a problem position over the last couple of years. Only becoming more pronounced with the rest of the team improving. Bono was brutal and the position needs to be sorted out before the start of next season.
Bono has been embarrassingly bad the past two games and average at best the rest of the season. We definitely need a new starter for next year. Need a strong central defender and deeper bench.

Great Game: Bradley, Bernadeschi
Good Game: Laryea, Criscito, Insigne
Meh Game: McNaughton, Osorio, Nelson, Mavinga
Poor Game: BONO, Akinola, Kerr, Achara

Absolutely. I was surprised it wasn’t addressed the past off-season. It’s going to have to be to take another step forward next year.

absolutely infuriating.

I would start Ranjitsingh next game honestly. I cannot see him as being a downgrade from who is probably the worst keeper in the MLS.

I keep thinking there must be some kind of cheap option out there to fill the void. Heck look at the CPL and just take the best keeper on loan for half a season. Try anything at this point.

Echo comments on here you can't play without a tender .. no team can win with that level of tending .. sorry but I have watched last 2 games and it is completely inept .. there is zero point in giving Bono another start at TFC .. best to let him go today and find a new team .. play whoever else you have it can't be any worse and it might be better .. only reason he could be staying around is $$$ owed

Bono has cost us a shot at the playoffs. A reliable starting GK has to be the number one priority in the off season.

The good thing with needing a new GK is it shouldn't be hard to replace in the off-season. There are plenty of MLS keepers that can do the job and those should be easier to sign than a foreign player.

No need to go find another Julio Cesar and pay those kinds of wages to an aging GK.

Ready for the game today.

The Italians have all been magnificent. Makes you wonder why we watched crap for most of the season.
Yes and it’s why I was so ciritical of the patchy roster pre Italians. I’m very glad they are working out, but man imagine if we had one or two additional “experienced” players on the team at the start of the season? We would be top 7 IMO.

Anyways thank you bono for not giving up any shitty goals tonight. Hope mavinga isnt going to miss any games and let’s keep Rolling. luckily we’re still in this despite the last week.

We will also need a lot of help from the out of town scoreboard.
Win tonight and we gain. Miami (6th) faces Columbus (7th). A draw for them and we could be 1 point out of 6th (though New England plays Chicago and could move up too). TFC also has played 1 extra game (2 on Columbus)

This team has to have given up the MOST goals ever in the last 5/10 minutes of a game. So sad. It seems were always giving up last minute goals.
