Honestly, I'd even go as far as putting him with Matthews and Marner, put Knies on another line to strengthen it. Either way, he just needs more than 10 minutes a game.

I'd rather have Robertson and Matthews on separate lines and give them a playmaker each

I feel like internal growth from Holmberg, Knies, Robertson etc are all going to be how we go further than we have in the past.

It also really feels like Berube is going to get more out of our entire roster / bottom 6 than Keefe did, if Matthews, JT, Marner or 88 didn't get it done then...it didn't get done. They were relied on a lot but he never really developed anyone or found a way to get more out of anyone. I think that could be the difference this year.

Stolarz was solid and has had a good camp.
Thought Lorentz showed well again and he seems like a very smart, dependable player for your 4th line.

I think Robertson needs to be top 6. I think we trade Jarnkrok and/or Kampf too. But pretty close.

Our goaltending depth is absolutely insane.

Woll and Stolarz look good but, Hildeby at #3 is wild, he's probably pushing for some starts on another team.

I expect teams will try to poach him in a trade this year if we're looking to upgrade.

I know It's just pre season, but I have to say, as good of a job as I think Treliving so far.

I do think he f***ed up signing Robertson to a 1 year deal.

If that kid stays healthy he's scoring 25 goals this year.

I've said that for awhile and the more I watch him the more I believe it.

ONLY thing stopping him is health

Brad is going to regret not getting that 2 year deal.

Good win against the NHL group. Depth on D is fine it seems. Lilly also lead the team in ice time. If he's really as bad as people say he is, and Berube isn't a fan, he certainly isn't showing it with how he's being played. Again he's been a primary PK option this pre season
