LAST 10 GAMES: Stars: 6-4-0, averaging 2.8 goals, 4.7 assists, 3.2 penalties and 6.9 penalty minutes while giving up 2.4 goals per game.

Maple Leafs: 6-4-0, averaging 2.8 goals, five assists, 3.2 penalties and 6.6 penalty minutes while giving up 2.4 goals per game.

1-0 or 2-1 game probably.

Minten played well. Very mature game. He can go down and get a tonne of ice time now.

I imagine Kampf must be close to returning.

Friday is the trade freeze. Doubt we see much happening unless numbers become a problem.

I suspect the only change we see in this one is Holmberg in for Reaves. Dallas is one of the softest teams in the league, no need for Reaves in this one

I think Myers stays in over Timmins. He looked good the last few weeks

Ive been a fan of Robertson and really want him to succeed. However, unless Domi remains a centre, I dont see there being any room for him with a healthy forward group. Hes gotta start to force our hand really soon if he wants to stay.

Right now the glaring weakness in this roster is that 3rd line C role. If Domi fills it and Robertson starts to contribute from his wing, we look much better. If Domi doesn't lock down that spot, he's probably moved to the wing and takes Robertson place.

Robertson isn't going to play on the 4th line, and he's got 6 wingers currently locked in ahead of him if Domi moves to the wing (Marner, Nylander, Knies, Pacioretty, McMann, and Domi). I doubt we see McMann back on the 4th line and Jarnkrok is still a possibility.

I'd be very happy if Reaves went back to not being a regular inclusion in the lineup.
I think most people agree that he should not be starting in the playoffs and, if we're relatively healthy, I would only use him in rotation to rest players during the season.

At this point, he's a better lockerroom presence than NHLer.

I still want him in against physical teams and rivalry games. But yes I agree he should be a rotational player moving forward

We need to acquire an impact bottom 6 player and really push guys like Holmberg, Kampf, robertson and Reaves out.

Our 4th line when fully healthy should be an above average 4th line consisting of:

Dewar/Jarnkrok - Dewar/Kampf - Lorentz

If we can get somebody to improve the line cheaply and recoup some low picks from a Jarnkrok/Kampf trade then that's great, but I wouldn't be suprised if our only consideration for the bottom 6 at the moment is a 3rd line C if Domi doesnt stick.

Why? He's been great for the most part.
You missed the original comment which was "one injury away from gloom". I hope Woll stays healthy and don't think starting Hildeby/Akhtyamov a game or two is the worse thing. However, theyre not wrong that an injury to Woll now and having your #1G and #2G both out at the same time would be concerning.

Leafs have been excellent against the West again this year. If I remember correctly they had the best record against the West last year from any Eastern team...

Just make it to the finals and play the odds. Please
