I'm not as low on them as some people are here after some losing skids etc, but I'm no fool knowing they have some major flaws to their game. One of them is not having the ability to ever outwork the opponent (might have to do with having all the skill in the world, but fail come playoff time). They do work hard. I’ve found myself quite enjoying their games this season.
I sometimes wonder if people that are extra high on the Leafs actually watch many games not involving them.
It would explain a lot.
Anyway, like you say Calgary won’t be giving them easy points, they’ll need to earn a victory. Plus Wolf can get into some grooves where he is exceptionally difficult to beat.
Should be a good battle.
Nope it's exactly rightGAMEDAY: Maple Leafs seek to extend solid run in Calgary
The Maple Leafs have won eight of their past 10 games in Calgary, where they will play the Flames for the first time this season.torontosun.com
Hopefully this is wrong.

Winner winner chicken dinnerUtter meaningless unless you can normalize for all the other factors such as quality of opponents, other injuries, significance of other people out of the lineup, players playing through injury, and hot/cold streaks, just to name a few.
You have to WANT to outwork the opponent, the Leafs can, I know because I've seen it. The problem is they don't often WANT too! It's the fatal flaw.I'm not as low on them as some people are here after some losing skids etc, but I'm no fool knowing they have some major flaws to their game. Actually I think Toronto being only 6 points from being out of a playoff spot and a bad week away from being out of a playoff spot is a good thing for them. It's going to make them have to play harder to get those points. Or they fold like a cheap tent & that might not be the worst thing for the organization.
Too many times at game 65-70 they already know who they are playing and just kind of glide into the playoffs.
Well it appears percentage wise there isn’t much of a difference between William and Mitch, we do play better without Mathews though. lol, go figureNot true when Marner is out.
20-17-5 without Marner
45-24-2 without Matthews
46-39-12 without Nylander
Head coach says maintenance day but also said that it happened in EdmontonWell that sucks. Has there been any indication what's wrong? Pending trade?
Wow...65 points...they may not make the playoffs...cannot score, need great goaltending to win, top goal guy is 30 goals behind what they need, best d man is not...Senators are better team todayI'm not as low on them as some people are here after some losing skids etc, but I'm no fool knowing they have some major flaws to their game. Yeah, that would be a real shame for Vegas.I hope Marner gets in enough games prior to the playoffs so he’s not too rusty.
I read some comments from the Edmonton game that he was terrified at the end, perhaps he’s still spooked and can’t find the courage to dress tonight?Head coach says maintenance day but also said that it happened in Edmonton
So I'm speculating that it happened near the end if the game when he had contact into the boards and came off of them a little gingerly.
Thinking of a mezcal cocktail, not sure which one exactly yet. That'll be my treatWhat do you guys have planned for the game tonight? Any treats? Anyone else excited about getting comfy on the couch with a nice snack and watching the late game?
I know you are joking but if this happens this place is going to be hilariousNope it's exactly right
Thank dog! finally no Marner which which frees the team from his infernal assisting, now Matthews can just shoot it in the net. Thinking 4 goal night for the big boy now that the albatross is off his back, he no longer has to stand around waiting all night for Marner to finally pass it to him.

Nylander hasn't missed 97 games in his career. Not sure where that number came from. Even if you include the holdout year it is nowhere close to that many games
So won't be as relaxing I guess ha. What grade do you teach?Lol I got water and a stack of math quizzes to mark. They better not let us down tonight GLG!!
