Too many penalties that period. Momentum was sapped with the successful Calgary goal challenge and the constant trips to the sin bin ensured we’d never get it back.

A 1-0 deficit for this team has too often felt like and been an insurmountable deficit this year. Need to keep up the pressure and break through.

Not impressed with the first period, way to many one and dones in the ozone, leading to way to many 3-2 and odd many rushes against us.

Running two 4th line centers on the bottom 6 is just killing us, not sure why Tre can’t pull the trigger on a deal already

@Antropovsky i can admit when I’m wrong.. Matthews and Domi is a paring we need to see more of, they had sustained offensive pressure.

we've always started strong and then get caved throughout the game, and this isn't the first time. It was happening with marner on the team too, so his injury doesn't excuse this teams play as it's been a long standing theme this season.
