I know there's a lot of reasons why selling the farm for Pettersson is a bad idea, otoh I'm tired that the last truly elite NHL center 1/2 punch we had was Staal/Brind'amour in what, 2008? Then the next best is one or two years of Vincent Trocheck

I just don't see him as elite he is right with Aho for a lot more cap. That's just not good value. As mentioned in another thread I would love 2 Ahos but not for that much of the cap.
