But the problem is how many cities in Canada are there that have the population to support a team that don't already have one? The plan is for a team in the Maritimes (Halifax IIRC) but other than Quebec City where else could you put a team? The league tried putting teams in non NFL American markets and it was a disaster so that's not an option.
Too many teams isn't a problem, there are 18 games/season, do you want to be like the NFL where some teams don't play each other for many years . A 10 team league would be plenty.

As an NFL fan, I don't care that my Team may not play another Team for the max 4 years.

Agreed. In fact, it makes that one game that much more exciting to watch. I like seeing Philly play in Barfalo every 8 years.

Pretty sure the longest between games is 4 years.

I'm a Bill's fan and my cousin in a Cowboys fan and we had to wait 8 years to see the Cowboys in Buffalo, that's too long and when some teams don't play each other and have easier schedules, is the Super Bowl champion team REALLY the best?

Reality of the sport, it's fair for all Teams.

Compare it to a round robin where all teams play each other once before the playoffs. With 30 teams and only 16 games, it's impossible for each team to play each other once and the best team can't be determined, I hope that helps .

I don't see the issue. Every major sport has unbalanced schedules, hockey is a prime example.
Best Team still stands at the end.

I agree that the NHL has an unbalanced schedule, but each team faces each other at least once, I still disagree that the best team always wins. Look at MLB this year, the Jays are playing terrible, but if they were in the Central division they'd be only out 4 games and if they didn't have to play Boston and New York their record would be even better.

I knew those standings off by heart without having to refer to a lazy google search but thanks for trying.
I was "trying " to alleviate your confusion. Perhaps it's not the standings but your understanding of the word "greatest"?
