Rielly for Trouba or no deal. Even then it sucks to take a downgrade at D, but with Trouba's trade request it makes a bit of sense.

As a Jets fan, this is completely unnecessary.

We're in no rush to trade Trouba right now.

We already have a similar player in Ehlers, so no need to give up assets for Marner.

Leafs:

Trouba

Spacek

2nd

Jets:

Marner

Dermott

I don't see the leafs dealing marner for anyone on the jets, maybe Laine/Schiefele if they were offered up.

Marner is on pace for a 65 pt rookie season and has easily been the most consistent leaf thus far. he goes absolutely nowhere and this offer is borderline trolling

If you invert Trouba's yearly stats and pretend that his year 4 is actually his year 1, and his year 1 is actually his year 4, he actually looks like he's trending the right way.

Stat watching? You should actually watch him sometime. Trouba has actually been quite good this year.

Lol so you think the best way to judge a defender is by how many points he puts up? Blows my mind how many people will readily admit to holding such a foolish opinion.

Trouba's worst year was his rookie season and he has consistently gotten better every single year. I suggest you try watching hockey games and not hockey boxscores.

He's a decent outfielder, batting .210. That's what we call straddling the Mendoza Line. Top pairing defenceman have to put up points too.

Rielly gets almost no powerplay time and always plays vs. the other teams top lines....maybe you should take some of your own advice.

Rielly is a number 3 defenseman.

Yeah bro, I totally said that about tryamkin. Every one of your posts in here praises your players and then you take shots. How tall is jvr, tell us one more time, like that makes a difference for his soft as butter style.
