This team's lack of depth on defense is going to be its downfall in the playoffs. Phaneuf is the only guy not playing a role that's over his head. Gunnarsson would ideally be a #4 guy, and everyone else should be on the bottom pairing or press box. We don't have guys like Johnson/Mitchell/Scuderi or Seidenberg/Boychuk to fill that secondary role to back up Phaneuf.

I will say one thing. I have noticed as the game has progressed the Tampa D has started to take more runs at our forwards. I guarantee if Orr and McLaren were in the lineup, Gudas would not be taking runs like he has.

Good point, perhaps. More value in Orr and Mclaren than most will admit.
