Really like this. Tons of oppurtunity at LW for the Leafs, if he's motivated he could earn himself a good situation. Leafs need more offense at that position. I could see him with Tavares and Nylander on a sheltered line, similar to what Galchenyuk got last season.

Coach Q is the last coach you want for a player like this. You need a young, lenient coach who will give him time to settle in. Like Keefe.

Definitely skilled/creative, but was lost defensively and had a tendency to overcarry the puck which led to a ton of turnovers on offensive zone entries. Could be useful in a Sam Gagner in Columbus sort of way, but I don't know how many teams have room for a PP specialist nowadays.

Even if he never plays a game for the Leafs this is ky favorite signing by the Leafs this offseason. He obviously has tonnes of skill. I could see him clicking with Matthew's or Tavares. No risk and maybe a chance at huge reward.
