Meh, it doesn’t matter but this is also a very interchangeable league minimum type player who shouldn’t be over a million.

A guy like Daniel Sprong will probably give a team 18-20 goals at under a million, vs an energy guy.
Sprong should be at 3-4M but he must be a cancer/toxic player in the locker room/for coaches to work with

Dude plays 13M a game and put 40-50 pts a year but makes jack squat

Domi to an extent is also like that. He got 3.75M but probably is a ~5M player

Yeah there’s definitely something off with Sprong but if you’re ever going to get a reward for under a million and hope your coaching can harness him he would be a worthwhile project.

Dewar’s meh, just seems like a piece you should develop from within making $900,000 or so.

I saw a quality defensive game with Dewar, when you mix that with his ability to score, physicality and positional versatility you could have a good player. I think he has Kampf like potential as a defensive forward, #1 PK unit and potential to ride up to line #3 and score 25-30 points.

Leafs are known for overpaying, why would this be any different. This is literally what they've been doing for almost a decade.

Still mystified as to why Minnesota didn't keep him or Duhaime, at the salaries they are being paid. The problem with the team last year was larger salaried and aging players either being out with injuries, or hampered by injuries.

(Blackhawk fan) Domi does everything needed. He’s great at nothing but can fit at C or W up and down the lineup.
While the Leafs are stacked offensively many teams could use him net front when they have to have a goal. He’s also useable in more defensive situations and he will jump in to defend his teammates.
Sprong can score. That’s it. He does nothing else on the ice at an NHL level.
