Kyle Clifford is better anyways.

Unironically this, 700+ modern NHL games, elite 4th liner company lol.

Alex Nylander does not have any of the physicality or puck protection skills to be in the NHL to make up for his lack of offensive skills. Might be great in Europe though as someone said but he's just weak on the puck here.

He's not even a top AHL level player. He should clear through waivers... that was his last NHL contract.
You can see the talent.... he had one shift where he actually used his speed and it was impressive. He's an effortless skater like Willy. But unfortunately, he just doesn't want to work.

He belongs in the AHL. At least in Toronto he can live with his brother and the Marlies have a scorer.

as soon as his current contract is expired I would move to Switzerland in his place, the salary would be comparable, no travelling longer than 3 hours and closer to home, I'm convinced even an absolutely incompetent agent could place him there

Semi offtopic, always makes me wonder how guys like him feel when their brother is a superstar making tens of millions of dollars and they can't carve a career in the league at all and are Europe bound. Yeah, I know, things could be worse for him, but still.

And the looks too. He’s definitely the devito of the Nylander twins.

Kind of like the folignos but I guess both are about the same hockey wise

Gets to collect a decent salary and probably live rent free. With the way his career has gone it’s probably the best case scenario left for him in NA
Leafs have paid ahl vets in the past a base salary of 500K-750K over a 2-3 year deal. The current vets on that package are Logan Shaw and Kyle Clifford (previously it was Clune).

Scored for Columbus (albeit in a small sample size). A bit surprised he made it through waivers. Can't help thinking he's more talented than some of the third line forwards currently on some rosters.

Offensively? Probably. It's the rest that is lacking.

Yes, he has talent... he just seems to lack the drive to do much with it.
