Just start playing better.

These are two very winnable games to give us a nice cushion for first but even if we win, we gotta start playing some better hockey.

Yeah, they've been playing some pretty ugly hockey the last few weeks. In November they did what they had to do to survive with a depleted roster and to their credit they played great tight defensive hockey supported by elite goaltending, but now that the roster is getting healthy I'd like to see them push the pace more and control the game.

Hildeby was literally pulled in his last AHL game with an .826 save percentage. Three of his last 4 AHL starts have been under an .876 save percentage. He has less than a .900 save percentage in the AHL this season. Let's hope he doesn't have to play a game

On the positive side, Matt Murray is a pretty decent option to have as a number 4 just in case.

Definitely a bit of a tougher sophmore season. He probably will play tomorrow. He'll bounce back.

Really wish they’d swap one of Marner or Nylander for Domi on that third line. Think this team could really cook with that now that McMann is back and he has the hands to not waste chances like Robertson and Holmberg do.

Regardless, Domi really should have a bit of a breakout game offensively tonight. Detroit ain’t good and he’s got an NHL calibre winger on the other side of him. Time to put up some assists or finally score a goal.
