The rest if his game is great, just wish he would grow a set and play more like Nylander in that sense.

He is what he is. He is never going to have Nylander’s shot or shoot first mentality. Just like Willy is never going to have Mitch’s vision or defensive play.

He didn't do that last year. He had a good stretch in our top 6 the back half, ending up with Matthews and Bertuzzi but also being with Tavares and Willy for a while.

He should replace Marner on the top line and let Marner run another line

He can't play in the bottom 6 period, Berube is the only guy that doesn't know that yet.

For a skilled team we hardly get power plays

Holmberg made a 4 foot backhand pass and my immediate thought was "Reaves could never do that"... A lot happier with a 4th line like this.

Reaves can also go away forever. Just terrible at this point. Get some actually useful depth. Some wheels, some hame some something.

Nylander is able to drive more because he can get around guys on the outside, not sure Marner can... Marner can get there stick handling but it is way harder.

Nylander has insane edges, somehow he gets faster out of a turn, and he has good straight line speed.

Marner's game is getting the puck to difficult spots with passes and IQ.

You are one of the few who actually get it.

There is an easy way to solve depth scoring, I hope it happens, but it is Nylander on line 3, he can drive his own line better than anyone else just because he is able to generate offense on his own.
