Not sure why you’re suggesting he can’t play center. He’s at minimum kept the same value.

All of 2023-2024 he played 3C, this past season he started at winger because Lehkonen, Nichuskin and Landeskog were all out of the lineup and we needed the extra depth in the top 6. So effectively he played 3C or as a top 6 winger. He then got hurt, came back from injury and played 3C again. This shows his versatility rather than showing he can’t play 3C.

He is versatile and has some value. But nothing significant. Maybe a late 2nd at best. Or 3rd and 4th.

But If teams view him more as a winger, he has no value imo.

This trade proposal is basically a 3rd and 4th round value. So its pretty fair imo
