Confirmed Trade: [TOR/CAR] Cade Webber for 2026 6th round pick

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Can we stop bleeding all draft picks for guys that I wouldn't trust to pump my gas.

If Treliving isn't going to add something significant then just go into the playoffs with the current roster.

Enough of trading all picks in late round for the next three years.
I don't think anyone cares about their gas pumping abilities( except you)

His huge left shot amounted to 1 goal in 115 NCAA games lol.

Prospect/scouting reports are always way too positive.
Meant hea huge not his shot 6 foot 7 was just saying he shoots.left

What's the difference between a prospect that was picked in a later round vs a 6th round draft pick ? It's a prospect in your teams pipeline.
And if he pans out will be alot sooner then a 6th rounder in 2026

Previous 4th rounded acquired for a 6th that’s already got his development started. I don’t see the issue…

Yeah, no way this deal happens without Toronto having spoke with his advisor and knowing he'll sign. Also, if I'm a North American guy in the canes system I ain't signing (especially so close to FA) either considering their uncertain AHL situation.

Might as well until a full rebuild is necessary.

Unless he trades Nylander U ain't getting nothing of substance back
But we just saw dubas get bent over

You just Burked it up and picked up Tyler Biggs
I don't think so. A 6th is not a coveted player or pick. This is chump change for a player that might be a chump. But in no way is this moving up in the draft to get Biggs in the 1st round. Those scouts are long gone.

A 6th another coveted Russian that everyone else is unwilling to draft to us.

Not everything here is a deadly serious analysis. Chill man.

6th round picks are shots in the dark may as well grab a D with some size and see how it pans out.

Treliving sure does love his meat on the back end though. Some big boys brought in over the last few years

watched him a lot becuase of Willander

He's a throwback type of D-man
Leads the nation in blocked shots, great on the PK, talks a lot on the ice in terms of trash talking.

He's played a majority of the season with Willander, Vancouver's 1st round pick
