makes senseThis is an absolute steal for the Bruins. Carlo is decent but not like the clowns at TSN make him out to be. I don't think they watch many games outside of the Leafs tbh. Soft, poke checking dman. 6'5 plays like he's 5'10.

If you're 6'5", you don't play like you're 5'10" by default of being 6'5.
Simply by being 6'5, he can clear the front of the net, move guys around, and do things a 5'10" defenseman can't. Carlo has flaws—he's not great offensively and he's not physical —but defensively and in front of the net, he's extremely good. He's a top-30-40ish RD in the league and an easy second-pair, #4 D. Worth the cost. There's a shortage of good RD in the NHL.
